The taxi is waiting.
Where are the bags?

Your team wants to send the guest off well. But the latest note is on another sheet, and the person who stored the bags has finished their shift.

Give the next attendant the location and recorded history in one search. They can help the guest while the queue keeps moving.

For GMs & directors of rooms

Understand the work
behind the welcome.

The bell desk can be hard to assess until something goes wrong. Docket gives GMs and directors of rooms a way to review the daily workload, service timings and staff activity already recorded by the team.

Plan coverage around demand

Use recorded workload to inform coverage. OPERA Cloud reporting adds expected arrivals and departures, helping you prepare for demand as well as review the work already done.

Review service timings

Review outstanding jobs and recorded timings. See where work is building up and discuss the causes with your team. HotSOS also shows when requests reached Bell, how the team responded and when accepted work was completed.

Follow up with a clear record

Follow timestamped movements and staff attribution where captured. Bring a clearer record to coaching, handovers and compensation reviews.

Docket
Built independently in Sydney

Why we built Docket

It started with a familiar problem.

Good bell teams spend too much time working around a paper log. Docket grew out of first-hand experience at the desk, carrying bags and handing work over between shifts. It is built around the details that matter when a guest is standing in front of you.

A few practical questions

Before you get started.

Have something else in mind?
We can talk it through in a demo.

What exactly is Docket?

Docket is a bell-desk management tool. It keeps baggage records, deliveries, storage movements, departures and shift handovers in one live ledger, with operational reporting for hotel leaders.

We already use Excel. Why switch?

Excel can list bags. Docket keeps the current status and location beside a timestamped history of the staff actions recorded against the tag, while outstanding arrivals, deliveries and departures stay in the working view.

Does Docket replace our PMS?

No. Your PMS remains the system for reservations, rooms, billing and the full guest profile. Docket covers the physical bell-desk work around bags, storage, deliveries, departures and handovers.

What can a GM or director of rooms learn from Docket?

Recorded activity can show demand by day and hour, service timings, staff workload and the history behind an incident. This gives hotel leaders a basis for rostering, coaching and service reviews. The picture depends on the work staff record; demonstration data is illustrative, not a measured customer result.

How do we get started?

We begin with a 30-minute walkthrough of how your property handles arrivals, departures and handover today. We then work through your property requirements, team access and rollout.

How does Docket handle access and operational data?

Docket requires authenticated staff access and separates view-only, bell-team and manager capabilities where configured. Supported movements keep timestamps and staff attribution where captured. Docket stores the operational details needed by the desk rather than a copy of the full PMS profile. Read the privacy notice
